Over the years we’ve built a solid team and workforce with some staff that have been with us for over 25 years. This is because we offer a work environment that’s friendly, happy and where our employees feel like part of the family.

We invest time and energy into our team by offering onsite training. We employ with career progression in mind and don’t overlook anyone who has the correct work ethic to ensure they’re fulfilled in their day to day work which helps us to maintain a family feel throughout the whole company.

Our family workforce has expanded progressivly over the last 8 years as we now employ over 100 members of staff. We started out with just 4 trade depots back in 1997 and now have 15+ trade counters across the country; Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Yorkshire, Staffordshire and Greater Manchester, all with a sizable sales team highly qualified at doing what they do.

Before quoting, we like to understand our clients’ needs, rather than issue a quote for 8000 products, we ask for client feedback, to ensure that we’re offering them the best possible products and the best possible prices.

All of our depot managers and trade counter staff have vast knowledge of how to install products. So if you’re from the DIY market and wonder how you’re going to fix that cladding, or taking on a home build project then we’re here to offer advice and guidance. You can pick up the phone and call us, or just ask behind the trade counter when you visit, we’ll point you in the right direction and put you on track.

Founder

Russ founded and built Tru Plastics limited from the ground up. Sadley, Russell passed away in 2022 but his legacy inspires us day by day.

Director

Ken and his wife Evelyn are the backbone of the business. Ken fits new branches out personally and enjoys being on the tools delivering materials to clients first thing in the morning.

Evelyn looks after all aspects of the business - everything but not limited to I.T, Stationary, workware and accounts. Without Ken and Evelyn, the business would not be where it is today.

David joined us in 2019, he is responsible for the internal sales team, David has a wealth of expertise in sales and is enjoying growing positive results heading up his team.

Brett is responsible for the servicing of existing account customers with pricing, technical details, new product information, and general account support, as well as new business acquisition and development.

Shane is responsible for external sales out of our Ilkeston, Langley Mill, Mansfield and Loughborough branches. He is extremely professional and driven, Shane manages a huge portfolio of clients whilst offering a personal service to them all.

David has been with TruSeal a number of years and has extensive industry experience. He covers a number of regions, assisting customers as and where his expertise is required.


Trade Depot Managers

    Jump on board, we’ll look after you.

    We consider our suppliers and clients as partners, after all, without them there would be no business.

    A sales representative will be personally assigned to you, ready to cover all your trade needs and requirements. They’ll arm you with marketing materials and brochures that will help you pinpoint your house build products. We’ll also support you by delivering onsite or to whichever premises suits you best.

    There’s no timescale to wait and see anyone; just drop us a quick phone call and we’ll send out a salesman to you the next working day. Give us a try, you won’t be disappointed!

    Typical Working hours: Our working hours are usually 7.30am until 4.30pm, but our sales reps and branch managers often work out of hours to answer calls and emails, we are one of the few companies that can be contacted 365 days a year 24/7.


     

    Special Notice: We also offer a full take off service.

    Provide use with your architect's drawings and we will estimate your requirements for your fascia, soffit, guttering, windows, doors, roofing and work out exactly what you need which saves you valueable time.
